Producing money cost money. For example, in the US, it cost 3¢ to mint a 1¢ penny. It also cost money to make bank notes too, and while not as much as a coin, there is still a lot of development to make it harder to counterfeit. Then there is paying the people who designs the notes, and then there is the issue of damaged notes. If a not is too damage to stay in circulation, the note does not magically appear out of thin air. Instead, the government is pay twice to reproduce that note. All of this cost money and time.
Since there is a cashless money system, there is no minting. It cost nothing to add zeros to digital accounts. Computers do all of the work, and they don’t get paid minimum wage to do their jobs. Now, technically, money can be produced out of nowhere, but this will only happen at the Kaldan Treasury which is in charge of managing the Kaldan National Bank. There is no need to produce replacement cash, nor create new cash. This will literally save the nation millions of dollars as everything will be done electronically.
