Employment

Employment is likely the second most common way to receive income. Simply put, the employee will negotiate with the employer for either an hourly rate, or a salary. Once the amount is defined, the employee will work for the employer based on the conditions. In turn, every payment period, the employee will receive a deposit directly from the business, and in the amount agreed upon. Since there is no income taxes, the gross amount is also the net amount. This means if an employee is working for $15/hour, and they work 40 hours a week, then they will earn $600 per week. Taxes are taken out for purchases of non-essential items and services, and with those sales tax being high, that is where the employee will likely pay their taxes to support the national government. Even though the employee is working for someone, and even if they receive an excellent salary, they will still receive their GBI. GBI is not based on need, but based on citizenship. If you are a national citizen, then you would receive your rightful government payout.
